WEA and WISHH Announces a RFP for Prime Contractor
Prime contractor to assist four-state region in federal funding proposal process
On behalf of the Western-Inter States Hydrogen Hub (WISHH), the Wyoming Energy Authority is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a prime contractor. This position will assist efforts across the four-state region to submit a proposal to the Department of Energy (DOE) for the funding opportunity announcement “Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs.” If awarded, the prime contractor will manage the implementation of the regional hydrogen hub project.
On February 23, 2022, Wyoming joined the states of Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to create the WISHH coalition. WISHH has been coordinating and developing a joint application for a regional clean hydrogen hub allocation in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
The Request for Proposals opened on August 19th and will close on August 16th, 2022.
